Domestic Violence survivors

Domestic violence is never acceptable. Violence in the household is never justified.  If you have decided you survived violence because you, "deserved it," the law disagrees.

Sexual violence survivors

Whether at the hands of a physician, a corrections officer, a third-party medical provider, or school administrator, sexual assault is not acceptable.  Violence is violence, including assault where one or both parties identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and/or asexual. Any situation where consent is not given or can not be given deserves equal protection under the law.
