We'll always explain the details before you pay us a dime.

If you have questions, give us a call or drop us an email. It's our job to be sure you're informed and delighted every step of the way.

Personal Injury Cases:

If we are representing you on a contingency fee, our fee is a percentage of the money recovered at the end of case.  If we do not recover money on your behalf, you will not owe us any money.  The percentage we are paid from your case depends upon how complex your matter is, but we will always agree upfront and in writing.

If there are costs we pay on your behalf, those costs must be paid back to us, whether or not any money is recovered according the Rules of Professional Conduct that control all lawyers in New Mexico.

Hourly Cases and mediations:

Hourly fees will be due at an interval we discuss and agree upon when we take your case - often monthly. Most of the time, we'll ask you for a deposit against future legal work, referred to as a retainer.  The amount of the retainer will depend upon the facts of your case. Please call if you want more information about our standard hourly rates.

Flat-Fee Services

Wills, Powers of Attorney, and other short-term projects are usually billed at a flat rate which is agreed upon in advance and is due when the project is complete.
